Sample Hypnosis Script You will find below a couple of different samples of hypnosis scripts. Hypnosis scripts go from the very simple to the more adventurous. Below you will find a very simple script and another that uses the imagination. Every hypnotherapist has their favorite session or their favorite script. One of my favorites is “The Library” which you will find below. I love this script because you can really use your voice when with a client and I just love the reaction from the client, from a grimace to a big smile or even a laugh. ________________________________________ The Library: I would like for you to use your imagination. I would like for you to imagine yourself standing in front of a door. This may be a door you have seen in the past or a door you see in your imagination. You try to open the door and discover it is locked. There is a table standing next to the door with a key on it. You pick up the key, insert it in the lock. The door unlocks easily and effortlessly as you walk into a library. You take notice at the books lining the walls of the library. This is a special library because all of the books in this library are about you. The books on the left side of the library are all of the good things that have ever happened to you. The books on the right are all of the not-so-good things. The books closest to you are embossed with the year 2007 and as you move further back into the room, the books go back in chronological order all the way back to the beginning of your time. I would like you to find a book for me. This book will try to hide. It will think it can outsmart you. But you know that you can outsmart it. The title of the book “smoking and excuses to continue” Take your time and find this book. When you find the book, take it off of the shelf and let me know you have it by raising one of the fingers of your right hand. Good. Find a bin in your library and put the book into the bin. Now Pick up the bin and find a door in your library the door which leads down into the basement. There are ten steps which go down to the basement and as I count from ten to one I would like for you to allow yourself to become twice as relaxed as you were on the count before, 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... on the next count you will be at the bottom of the staircase and once again I will ask you to use your imagination ... 1. Good. I would like for you to find yourself walking into a room. In the corner of the room is a fireplace and there is a fire blazing inside the fire place. The intensity of the heat is such that the flames are red. Now throw the book into the fire and watch. Watch as the binding begins to blacken and char and the pages begin to burn and curl. But just before the book is about to go up in smoke, using the poker near by, remove the book from the fire and let it fall to the floor. This book is trying to kill you. It is trying to control your life. You open the book to find an entry for each and every time you had a cigarette, You read about the very first time. You remember who was there with you. Who lit it for you and how it burned the back of your throat. You probably gagged and coughed until you finally got into the habit. In anger you pick up the book and rip it in two and throw it back into the fire and watch as it finishes burning. When you are convinced that the only thing that's left is a pile of blackened ash. You come back up the steps into the library. There is a chair in the library which sits in the middle of the room. There is a pile of wrapped books next to the chair. You lift up the first book from the pile and unwrap it. The title of this book is, My Health And Happiness. Now go and replace this book on the shelf where the book you burned once was. Now go through the library as silent as you can for the next minute just remove any and all of the books you wish to destroy once and for all. Go through the library find all the books about smoking and the connections with smoking and with all the other books you want to destroy, take them down to the basement and throw them into the fire and watch them burn. When you come back up from the basement, let me know by raising the one of the fingers of your right hand.
Good. Allow yourself now to feel a great sense of relief as you leave the library. Remember to lock the door behind you. Now walk out into the sunshine taking deep breaths of air. Allow the sun on your face to act as a wonderful natural tranquillizer on your system and notice how good you feel. ______________________________________ The script below I also love because it works so well with clients. Most clients you see will need a confidence boost and the script below works really well. ______________________________________ Ego Strengthening Routine. You have now become so deeply relaxed….so deeply relaxed …that your mind has become so sensitive….so receptive to what I say….that everything that I put into your mind ….will sink so deeply into the unconscious part of your mind…and will cause so deep and lasting an impression there….that nothing will eradicate it. Consequently…these things that I put into your unconscious mind …will begin to exercise a greater and greater influence over the way you think…over the way you feel…over the way you behave. And…because these things will remain…firmly imbedded in the unconscious part of your mind….after you have left here ….when you are no longer with me….they will continue to exercise that same great influence ….over your thoughts….your feelings…and your actions…just as strongly…just as surely…just as powerfully…when you are back home….or at work…as when you are with me in this room. You are now so very deeply relaxed….that everything that I tell you that is going to happen to you….for your own good….will happen….exactly as I tell you. And every feeling …that I tell you that you will experience….you will experience …..Exactly as I tell you. And these same things will continue to happen to….every day….and you will continue to experience these same feelings…every day….just as strongly…just as surely….just as powerfully….when you are back at home….or at work…as when you are with me in this room. During this deep relaxation…you are going to feel physically stronger and fitter in everyway. You will feel more alert…more wide-awake….more energetic. You will become much less easily tired…much less easily fatigued…much less easily discouraged…much less easily depressed. Everyday…you will become so deeply interested in whatever you are doing….in whatever is going on around you…that your mind will become completely distracted away from yourself. You will no longer think nearly so much about yourself…you will no longer dwell nearly so much upon yourself and your difficulties …and you will become much less conscious of yourself…much less pre-occupied with yourself…and with your own feelings. Everyday…your nerves will become stronger and steadier…your mind calmer and clearer…more composed…more placid…more tranquil. You will become much less easily worried…much less easily agitated…much less easily fearful and apprehensive…much less easily upset. You will be able to think more clearly…you will be able to concentrate more easily. You will be able to give up your whole undivided attention to whatever you are doing…to the complete exclusion of everything else. Consequently…your memory will rapidly improve…and you will be able to see things in their true perspective…without magnifying your difficulties…without ever allowing them to get out of proportion. Everyday…you will become emotionally much calmer…much more settled…much less easily disturbed. Everyday…you will become…and you will remain…more and more completely relaxed…and less tense each day…both mentally and physically…even when you are no longer with me. And as you become…and as you remain…more relaxed …and less tense each day….so….you will develop much more confidence in yourself…more confidence in you ability to do…not only what you have…to do each day…but more confidence in you ability to do whatever you ought to be able to do…without fear of failure…without fear of consequences…without unnecessary anxiety…without uneasiness. Because of this…every day…you will feel more and more independent…more able to ‘stick up for yourself’…to stand upon your own feet…to hold your own…no matter how difficult or trying things may be. Every day….you will feel a greater feeling of personal well-being…a greater feeling of personal safety…and security….that you have felt for a long, long time. And because all these things will begin to happen…exactly as I tell you they will happen…more and more rapidly…powerfully….and completely….you will feel much happier….much more contented…..much more optimistic in every way. You will consequently become much more able to rely upon….to depend upon…yourself…your own efforts…your own judgment…your own opinions. You will feel much less need…to have to rely upon…or to depend upon….other people. Now as I count from one to five I want you to bring up a feeling – a feeling of being healthy, of feeling good, peaceful and free now to do anything in your life. I want you to bring up a feeling of being confident. And as I count from one to five that confidence and motivation will just grow and grow. One.... confidence, motivation building and growing spreading through your whole body. Two... that confidence and motivation spreading through your whole body, feel it in your stomach, now spreading through your whole body, growing and growing, more and more confident. Three... confidence building up and bubbling over as it spreads through your whole body No-one can take this new confidence away from you. Four... more confident now, more healthy, more free to live life to the fullest Five... now let a smile grow on your face right now, that smile is your confidence. Everyday you are now healthier, eating healthy foods, thinking health thoughts and living live to the fullest. When I say the word sleep you will allow all this confidence and motivation to start now and continue to grow stronger and stronger with every passing day. “SLEEP” You now have a new healthy habit of enjoying every single day in your life, your smile is your confidence, every time you smile you will feel more confident of your abilities. No one can take this new confidence away from you, not even your old self.
